Willem Sassen was a Dutch collaborator who had served in the SS war correspondents' corps.

About

After the war he worked in Argentina as a journalist and ghostwriter. In 1957 he taped months of conversations with Eichmann in his house in Buenos Aires. The project began as an attempt to deny the murder of the Jews or minimize its scale.

In this interview

The sessions took place in Sassen's house, and he opened them by asking Eichmann about the six million. Eichmann sometimes speaks to him by name.
